Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games

Along with some fifteen other members of the Paris Bar Association, I will be part of a pool of ProBono lawyers available to intervene in disputes arising during the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

During these Games, the Court of Arbitration for Sport will set up two temporary offices within the Tribunal Judiciaire de Paris :

  • the anti-doping division, responsible for ruling on potential Anti-Doping Rule Violations occurring during the period of the 2024 Olympic Games;

  • the ad hoc division, called upon to rule on all other disputes arising during the period of the 2024 Olympic Games (non-selection/arbitration decisions ; disqualifications ; disputes relating to invitations or accreditations ; disputes relating to infringements of athletes' rights etc.).

In this context, the CAS, in coordination with the Paris Bar Association, has decided to offer athletes, coaches and other participants in the 2024 Olympic Games the opportunity to benefit from rapid legal assistance (given the urgency with which decisions will have to be rendered) and free of charge.

I am therefore particularly proud to be able to contribute my expertise (particularly in anti-doping law) to this initiative coordinated by Joëlle Monlouis.
